During his training Dr. Wali was mentored by world famous cosmetic and reconstructive surgeons, who taught him how to perform the most cutting edge procedures in plastic surgery. He integrates this experience and knowledge to provide minimally invasive techniques bringing youth and beauty to the face and body.

Dr. Wali is considered a technically superior surgeon by his peers and for this reason was asked to take the prestigious position as the microsurgical fellow at Los Angeles County-USC medical center. As an attending physician at the LAC-USC hospital, Dr. Wali has performed the most advanced reconstructive procedures from re-implanting a child’s scalp, which was amputated during a car accident, to reconstructing faces and bodies of cancer patients and trauma victims.

As a fully trained plastic surgeon Dr. Wali is currently active in teaching USC plastic surgery residents. He has given several Grand Round presentations at local medical centers and has presented his research on surgical techniques at national plastic surgery symposiums. He is also a consultant to local hospitals, insurance companies and health maintenance organizations (HMO’s) ensuring better care for patients with complex surgical problems.
