Dr. Sergio Pasquale Maggi is a board-certified plastic surgeon. He is also been selected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). As an Ambassador level member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) he is a representative plastic surgeon for the Society in public education, and numerous media activities.

In 2007 Dr. Maggi was admitted into the prestigious Maliniac Circle of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS)- a group of highly dedicated plastic surgeons who have each personally committed from 50 to 100 thousand dollars to the Plastic Surgery Research Foundation (PSEF). All members of The Circle have made this generous donation as a personal commitment to assure the future and the continued excellence of plastic surgery worldwide.

Training both as a plastic surgeon, and then followed by a one year fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the prestigious Washington University Medical Center, St. Louis Dr. Maggi believes he has obtained one of the best educations is plastic surgery possible. Because many of the "giants" in plastic surgery were trained at Washington University, it is commonly regarded as the "Cradle of American Plastic Surgery" by plastic surgeons.

During his many years of training, Dr. Maggi, has performed hundreds of breast surgery procedures.

He has also co-authored numerous scientific journal articles in the surgical literature, while both as a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Fellow, as well as an active investigator during his 10 years of surgical residency training.

While in private practice Dr. Maggi has also participated as a FDA Clinical Investigator for the FDA Trials on Silicone Breast Implants.

He has also received training certification to use Silicone Implants from each of the two FDA approved breast implant manufacturers- Mentor, and Natrelle (Inamed).
