Dr. Gelman is a sought after lecturer, speaking monthly on breast augmentation, body contouring, liposuction and post-bariatric reconstruction. He was recently invited and flown to Boston to share his abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) technique with plastic surgeons from around the country and Harvard faculty members.

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Swarthmore College in 1983 and received his MD degree from Duke University in 1987. He completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and was re-certified this year receiving a perfect score on the recertification exam.
