American Board of Plastic Surgery 1997

To become Board Certified in Plastic Surgery a doctor must have completed four years medical school, three to five years of clinical training in general surgery, and a residency of at least two years in an accredited plastic surgery hospital program. In addition, the doctor must be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and have passed the scrutiny of his or her peers.
