CERTIFICATIONS & ACCREDITATIONS
The most rewarding aspect of plastic surgery for Mark McClung, M.D., is the great results he can provide for his patients. "It's gratifying to solve a problem or alleviate a concern for a patient and know that your special skill makes a difference," says the plastic surgeon. What attracted Dr. McClung to plastic surgery is the innovative approach required by each procedure. "No two cosmetic surgeries are ever the same," he says. "Each requires a custom-fitting." As the popularity of cosmetic procedures increases, Dr. McClung sees many patients in their 30s and 40s who want to "freshen up" their appearance. Body contouring, including liposuction, breast augmentation or reduction, and tummy tucks provide patients an opportunity to feel and look better. "Laser treatment and chemical peels are popular options to rejuvenate the face," Dr. McClung says. "Facelifts are no longer for only the rich and famous."
