Core and Associates opened in 2004 in Birmingham’s Southside. Though the name is new, Dr. Core has been practicing cosmetic surgery in the Birmingham area since 1995. Our hope is that you find our new location comfortable, serene and easily accessible.

Dr. Core recently was honored as a distinguished alumnus of the University of Arkansas based on his innovative work in endoscopic and aesthetic plastic surgery. He has been honored by recent invitations to speak at the University of Rome, Italy on liposuction and at NYU to present his mid-facelift technique. Dr. Core was elected by his peers to membership in the prestigious American Association of Plastic Surgery. He is one of only four active plastic surgeons in Alabama to be admitted. The total AAPS membership is approximately 300 worldwide.

Breast augmentations are a specialized part of our practice. Dr. Core is publishing his experience with over 1,000 endoscopic breast augmentations in the past 10-year period. To perform breast augmentations with a transaxillary incision gives the patient the most aesthetically pleasing result with no scarring in the chest area and a natural result.
