CERTIFICATIONS & ACCREDITATIONS

Dr. Wallach is a board certified plastic surgeon and the current President of the New York Regional Society of Plastic Surgery that specializes in performing aesthetic procedures of the face and body. One of Dr. Wallach’s specialties is performing breast augmentation in conjunction with an abdominoplasty. The breast implants can be placed through the same incision as the abdominoplasty so that a scar is avoided on the breast. This has recently been published in Aesthetic Surgery Journal. He has been featured in New York Magazine’s “Best Beauty Docs” issue “as one of the fields sharpest talents”. Dr. Wallach is also a technical editor for Aesthetic Surgery Journal and an officer and member of the Executive Board of the New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

As an expert on plastic surgery, Dr. Wallach is regularly quoted in national and local consumer magazines and newspapers including: New York Magazine, Newsweek, Vogue, InStyle, Family Circle, Glamour, Latina and Shape to name a few. He has also appeared on numerous television and radio talk shows to discuss his experience performing aesthetic surgery.

Plastic Surgery - 1999

The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), a not-for-profit organization, assists 24 approved medical specialty boards in the development and use of standards in the ongoing evaluation and certification of physicians. ABMS, recognized as the "gold standard" in physician certification, believes higher standards for physicians means better care for patients. Board certification by an ABMS member board provides assurance of a physician's expertise in a particular specialty and/or subspecialty of practice.
