A few considerations:

After your PREVELLE^® Silk treatment, you may have temporary injection site reactions such as swelling, pain/tenderness, and redness.  Although rare, lumps/bumps may occur.  These symptoms are typically mild and, in most cases, resolve within 7 days.  Exposure of the treated area to excessive sun, UV lamp, and/or extreme cold weather should be minimized until any initial swelling and redness have resolved.  To avoid bruising and bleeding, you should not use PREVELLE^® Silk if you have recently used drugs that thin your blood or prevent clotting, such as aspirin and ibuprofen.  If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or under the age of 18, you should not use PREVELLE^® Silk.
